High Frequency Induction Heating Machine (HF-15A/15AB)
Advanced Induction Heating Technology
Induction heating provides a fast, efficient, precise, and repeatable non-contact method for heating metals and other electrically conductive materials. The system consists of an induction power supply that converts line power to alternating current, delivering it to a workhead and work coil to create an electromagnetic field. When a workpiece is placed within this coil, the induced current generates precise, controlled heat directly within the material.
Key Applications
Induction Heat Treatment
Surface Hardening (Quenching): Rapidly heats metal surfaces followed by immediate cooling to create a durable, wear-resistant outer layer while maintaining a tough, ductile core. Ideal for gears, shafts, crankshafts, and various industrial tools.
Annealing and Tempering: Softens metals to improve machinability and relieve internal stresses, while tempering reduces brittleness post-hardening. Enables precise localized annealing for stainless steel strips and specific component sections.
Heating for Forming Operations
Hot Forging and Forming: Heats metal billets and workpieces to optimal plastic states for forging into precise shapes using presses or hammers. Essential for manufacturing hand tools, automotive components, and fasteners.
Hot Fitting: Expands metal components such as bearings through controlled heating, facilitating easy assembly onto mating parts. Upon cooling, the thermal contraction creates secure interference fits for permanent assemblies.
